I'm back from slovakia. I landed on singapore yesterday around 4 plus.
Slovakia, vienna and sopron were really fun and interesting. We got to travel here and there, got to stay in different hotels. Food there were marvellous, just that after a while, u will get tired of it, especially breakfast. You are given the same dishes everyday. Usually in the afternoon, we are given our free time to eat ourself and i realised that i have been eating pasta for the past few days. The teachers would usually treat us during the night.
Just a few brief few summary, too lazy to type a detailed trip
1st day
-reached airport at 7.45 and departed around 9 plus
2nd day
-reached asterdam(can't remember how to spell it)
-took another plane to vienna
-took a counch to slovakia.
-stayed in Hotel Nivy
3rd day
-had a morning tour around slovakia
-practices in night
4rd day
-had a morning tour again, but this time, i grounded myself, actually, mr Toh indirectly grounded me
-we had an accoustic check at the competition venue
-we are invited to sing at Staint Martin Cathedral that night in the opening ceremony
-lonesome road was very good
-practices again in the night
5rd day
-competition day
-it was in the morning, so we had an early breakfast and had our practices
-watched other performances until around 4
-should have brought other clothings to change, my shoe gets really uncomfortable
-result was released at 4 plus
-missed it as i went toilet
-the NanYang Pri School teachers told us we got Gold
-wasn't surprised or anything, just feeling contented
-btw, we got 95 marks, a bit shocking
-had reflection that night and the teachers treated us to ice creams
6rd day
-we left for sopron in the morning.
-we stayed in Hotel Palatinus
-It was wine day and we were given time to venture around
-had night study. it was productive
-we learnt a new song called the "Irish Blessing"
7rd day
-changed hotel to Hotel Sopron
-Ernest an I got a super good hotel. It had a beautiful senery
-we had a morning tour again
-we were later given time to venture around this time and we went further this time
-had night study again, and we had our second reflection
-we learnt a new song again called the "Can't buy me love"
8rd day
-we returned to Vienna and we stayed in Pension ANNA
-Room was super small and we had to squeeze 4 people
-had a tour to 2 palace
-free time to shop around, the girls really enjoyed the shoppinn there lah
-had our last reflection and the teachers decided to let us sleep early without sectionals or night study
-hanged out in Rachel's room, played some games
-the teachers came in around 12 plus to stop us for someone complained about us and almost wanted to call the police
9rd day
-we were given our free time to shop again in the morning, the girls really enjoyed themself there lah
-took off in the afternoon back to Amsterdam
-2 hours to transit, so we went shopping
-drank a bit of alcohol...haha, can't let the teachers know
-left for Singapore
10th day
-touched down and reached Singapore
-seniors came
-my father came to fetch me
well, thats all lah. I will miss Europe lah. i will try to go back one day
I thank God for the wonderful time in Europe
